For more than 40 years now, the Strauss family has provided they are family original formulas commercially with great success. These formulas or most were created generations ago by this family of master herbalists and medicine men and women. Peter Strauss is the 8th generation herbalist trained to both recognize the medicinal value of herbs by taste and, formulate a combination of herbs to create effective formulas for more than 200 years.

This craft, unique to the Strauss family and so in tune with a full understanding of NATURE itself and how our bodies need natural substances to both maintain good health and prevent and or fight ailments we humans often suffer. I personally have used all the formulas, as have my parents, sons, many in our family and extended families, former football players and other athletes, as well as the millions who have used Strauss formulas with much success. This was also the case in the first clinical study on the Famous Strauss Heart Drops, many years ago in London, Ontario. One difference, compared to pharmaceutical trials usual criteria, was in the Strauss study, test candidates were also asked how they felt. The Heart Drops study was very successful and showed a lowering of cholesterol, triglycerides, blood pressure, cold extremities, and grayish blue skin colour. Test candidates on SHD and not the placebo felt better with more energy. As Jim always said, “If you’re not made from it, it cannot fix you”.

Natural herbs and foods are made from the same cells as humans and support our body’s functions and organs to do what they are intended to, not alter or change pour bodies functions to deal only with symptoms. Jim often said, “to expect man made chemical drugs to heal or fix us, would be like taking our cars to the lumber yard to fix with wood, you need materials the car is made from to fix it and so do we humans”.

OUR FOODS ARE COLOUR CODED

Jim always said nature colour coded the foods for all creatures to recognize.

Blue foods for pain including fatigue.

Red foods for red blood cells

Yellow/orange foods for liver and kidneys

Green foods for energy and many good vitamins, minerals.

If you are like me, you love fresh cherries. At the start of the season, we often buy a basket and eat them all, but a second basket may not be finished and the last few cherries may be thrown out. Our bodies can only store red blood cells for 120 days. When we crave cherries or any other natural food, our body is telling us we need it. Generally the cravings will leave us once we have eaten enough (cherries a good example).

EVERYTHING IN NATURES PROPORTIONS IS PERFECT

When I was young, we were told not to eat apple seeds; due to the fact, they contain arsenic, which indeed they do. So does almonds, in fact up to 3% arsenic! However, in nature’s proportion they are not only harmless, but very good for us. If you separated out the arsenic from 100 almonds and ate that much arsenic, it may well kill you. In nature’s proportion, there is no harm, no matter how many almond or apple seeds you eat. Just good food and apple seeds, like grape seeds (not GMO) are said to be good cancer prevention substances to eat.

When you make a soup, salad or mixed vegetable dish, try to make it colourful as you can, getting the enzymes from all the foods and their colours.

To make a vegetable soup with the most nutrition left for you chop your veggies smaller and wait until your stock/water has boiled, then put the veggies in to the boiling water and shut the heat off, keep the pot covered and the next day you will have a lovely nutritious soup, full of nutrition because you haven’t cooked the veggies, but made more like a tea, where you pour boiling water on tea but don’t cook it.
